We are pleased to announce the new Member of the Albanian Power Exchange - ALPEX j.s.c, Egnatia Hydropower sh.p.k. for Albania Bidding Zone.

Egnatia Hydropower sh.p.k., located at Ibrahim Rugova Street, No. 5, “Sky Tower” Building, Floor 8/2, Tirana, has signed the Exchange Membership Agreement and has become the newest ALPEX member in the Day-Ahead Markets.

As a hydropower energy source, the Hydropower Plant with an installed capacity of 48.86 MW adds value to the energy market in the Day-Ahead Market (DAM) segment by contributing stable generation, operational flexibility, and increased security of supply within the power system.

Egnatia Hydropower sh.p.k. operates within the energy system in accordance with national legislation, the Electricity Market Rules, bilateral or multilateral agreements, and other applicable legal acts.
